The sun beamed brightly through a window. Illuminating a dark messy room . Clothes were scattered across the floor and the upon the walls hung various posters of musicians and television shows. The suns rays slowly crept over the face of an ebon haired women. Her hair was as dark as a moonlit night, a sleek shine from whichever you might see hanging over her perfect sun kissed skin. She groaned as the shine of a new morning disturbed her slumber. As she sat herself up she took a look around the room, slowly standing up and shuffling her feet across the floor. Her head was pounding. She may have had to much to drink last night, It was her 18th birthday party so it may have gotten a little out of hand.
"Oh well" she thought to her self as she gathered clothes preparing herself for a shower. Walking by a small desk that her tv sat upon, her vision still slightly blurry. On her desk was a big bulky necklace, an old amethyst. a single sight shows this bauble has a story. It was old looking, a cold silver in the shape of a lions head enbolding the amethyst. The lion looks as if its letting out a roar but the gem seems to be in its way. She sighed, remembering where she had gotten it, filling her with sadness. It was a gift from her boyfriend. Her lover was a soldier, so she hardly ever got to see him. She was fantasizing about him. She could see every detail in her mind. From his chiseled jawline to his slender body, his short brunette hair that would occasionally fall before his beautiful hazel eyes.
Yesterday was the last day she was going to get to see him, god knows how long he'll be gone this time. Removing her eyes from the necklace she headed to the shower. She turned the faucet, slightly releived by the sound of the running water. Showers were her favorite thing in the morning, it's what wakes her up and gets her mentally prepared for the day. As she's testing the water until it's just right, she strips out of her fuzzy unicorn pajamas and her black tank top before stepping into the hot steamy shower. Hot water streaming down her back as she scrubbed her body and washed her long sleek hair.
"I can't help thinking of him." she exclaims to herself. She was in a long distance relationship of sorts. But his job paid well and he does always come back, she lived in his house of course. Having lots of time to herself has started to take its toll, feeling as if she was an outsider looking in on her own life. This was never her plan. They were supposed to go to college together, spending every second at each others sides living a happy life. One day he suddenly changed his mind and revealing to her that he didn't want to go to college. He was so insistent on joing the military, they argued about if for what seemed like weeks but she finally gave in and supported him, Like the good girlfriend she was.
Finishing her shower she pulled back the curtain, grabbing her fluffy white towel. Drying herself off and stepping out of the shower onto the floor mat decorated with an assortment of colored flowers. Simple and quaint just as she likes it. She finishes dressing herself. Blue jeans and a white tee topped off with her staple leather jacket. Walking back to her room her phone starts to ring. Komori Masuta is calling. A smile creeps across her cheeks.
Her lover. Her knight in shining camo as she would call him. She couldn't help but smile as she slid the green circle to the right happily answering the call just to be greeted by his gruff voice on the other line.
"Karasu Joo, you better not be in bed still. I know its a Saturday but that dosen't mean you can just lay around all day." Karasu rolled her eyes taking note of his playful tone. " Jeeze sorry Dad, i wasnt aware it was an inconvinence to you, and don't call me by my real name its gross! It's Kara and you know that." she said gigling slightly afterword. Even after her shower she was still a little drowsey. Her voice still had a hint of tirednes in it. A chuckle came from his end. "Well, this is the last chance that I will be able to call you before I'm shipped off." Komori paused for a moment and continued, "So I thought I would tell you how beautiful you are, how much I am going to miss you, and that I love you Kara." Kara leaned aginst the wall. Keeping a strong composure no matter how much it hurts. She hating having to worry about his well being, if something were to happen to him. No. A woman should never have to experience that. Her back slowly trailed down the wall untill she sat upon the floor. "I love you too. Just," Kara paused, fighting herself for the right words to say. Her lips trembled abit before she could finally force her voice out. "just call me whenever you can so that i know you are safe and not lying dead in a ditch somewhere ok?" Kara tried to hide the concern in her voice but it stuck out like a sore thumb. " Listen, I Promise I will come back to you. I know you worry about me but there is not any reason to. I won't die unless you are by my side." Komori's voice was so soothing to her. It certanly didn't rest her worries, But it did help. Komori spoke again "Kara I have to go. I do love you and don't ever forget that." "I love you too, Komori. Be safe." she responded solemly knowing this is the last she could ever hear from him. That terrified her more than anything in the world.
Kara Forced herself to her feet and walked back to the necklace. She picked it up, observing the cold metal of the necklace, the Radience of the Amethyst. Her hands travled to the clasp of the necklace, undoing it and reattaching it behind her neck. She then sat on her bed and sighed. Thoughts flooded her mind about her him. Things like how muscular he was, or how his voice was so deep and manly. The desires within her took over. She slowly massaged her breasts, exhaling in pleasure as her fingers travled down her stomach and onto the beltbuckle. As she unlatches the frame her desires seem to block out the rest of the world. So much so she didn't notice the footsteps leading to her room. The door swung open quickly. Kara nearly jumped out of her own skin, she retracted her hands to her sides, her heart beat picked up speed and pounded in her chest. She snapped her head to the door. A woman was standing there. "Who are you?!" She shoated pointing a finger at the strange woman in her bedroom. " The names Ly'kiten! your magical badass warrior you just summoned! The best marksman in this dimension or any other! But you can just call me Kitten of you want. It's cuter anyway." The strange woman said raising her arm and showing off a peace sign. Kara was flabergasted. She didn't think she was hearing this woman right. Did she say that she was summoned here?! That isn't even possible. Kara looked this woman up and down, from head to toe. Kitten's hair was pulled in a messy bun, strands of hair dangling in her face. It had a shiny shade of purple to it. It certainly was not human. The strange woman had a white shirt that stoped under her breasts, long purple sleeves and black short shorts were paired scantily. They were so short Kara was sure her cheeks were hanging out of them. Kara had to admit, the stranger was gorgeous. A slience filled the air as Kara tried to think of something, anything to say in fact. She ended up stumbling over her words and spouting out nonsense. " Summoned?!...but... how.. where did..." The purple haired beauty cut her off. "Yup! Summoned me. from that beautiful necklace around your neck." Kitten gave a toothy grin. " Just sit there and let me explain some things. I am a warrior from another dimenion! I know that's cool but it dosen't stop there !" Kitten streched her arm out, and a huge crossbow appeared in her hand. It was a a solid black crossbow and was fairly large. Expecially for someone of Kitten's small stature. But right in the center of the crossbow was a skull with an open mouth and a sharp shiney arrowhead sticking out of it. "This is my mighty weapon! we call them Regalia and with mine I can slay any foe from a mile away! maybe even two!!" Kitten was giddy with excitment. She loved talking about her self or showing off just how good of a warrior she is. Alas she continued. " I was summoned here because of you, and I'll do anything I can to protect you. I can sense others like me tell you I think your town is flooded!" Kitten scrunched her nose up frowning. Kara was silent with her mouth open. She couldn't grasp all the information this "magical warrior" was giving her. " Wait so there are more of things like you ?! " Kara nearly shouted, watching as Kitten's toothy grin slowly fade to a frown. Kitten slowly walked around Kara's room looking at her strange posters. " We are not things, we are people. Just with extrodinary powers and abillities." The black haired female shook her head. " No this can't happen, I am not your master! I won't survive anything like that I am not a fighter and I don't even know why I summoned you! " Kara's gaze followed the curvey warrior, who met her gaze and slowly walked to her. "I don't know why it was you that summoned me, But there has to be a reason. Maybe it's destiny. You and I could be destined to do something great for the world, together you and I can save this world and the people in it! Just bare with me. and give it a shot. What do you say? Master." The warrior had a smug look on her face as she extended her hand. Kara had so many thoughts running through her head she swore she was going to burst. The warriors words had hit her. Kara had been feeling out of place latley. Where does she fit in this world? Danger would surely follow her down this path but did she really care? Her man did it every day so why couldn't she? She eyed kitten and bit the inside of her cheek before meeting her hand shake. "Good! now let me show you what i can do!" Kitten said with excitement as she dragged Kara out of her house.
Kara was dragged for almost a good twenty minutes. Kitten brought her to some sort of meadow. Tall grass danced in the wind. Leaves flew around them in the feild circling around them. How could she have not been here before? Kitten turned to her new master with her hands on her hips. " Alright! so you stand here. and I shall show you why I am the best marksman ever! "The marksman ran off in a direction the tall grass ticked her slender legs as she ran through this big opening, laughing with glee as she frolicked. Kara began to protest but it was to late. Her new "partner" just took off. She looked up at the blue sky that was painted whith White fluffy clouds. A sigh escaped the master's throat as she waited on her magical entity. Time passed when kara started to get annoyed. she was sitting under the shade of a nearby tree. She checked her cell phone. "That crazy woman has been gone for almost a half an hour!" she groaned and layed her head back in the soft grass. " Where could she be?" The necklace sloftly vibrated and she could hear the warriors voice in her head. Sure it was strange. But she had a feeling it was only the beginning. " Alright Master! stand up! " The voice said in her head said and she immediatly stood up. Kara was anxious to see just how good this fighter is. The voice rang in her head again giddy with excitment. " Do you see this big metal tower im standing on? With the red blinking lights? I'm on top of it !" Kara looked into the distance. She had to sheild her eyes from the sun and squint but she could finally faintly make out a radio tower. " There is no way you are all the way back there ! I can hardly see it!" Kara shouted to herself. " Yeah well I am! now see that acorn hanging from the branch on that tree you were just sitting under? " Kara turned her head to look back at the tree tilting her head back to get a better view of the mahogany crooked branches to see a single acorn dangling from a branch. She looked back at the radio tower. A small flash of purple flickered from its peak. Within a couple seconds a bolt shattered the acorn dangling from the tree. The wind from the arrow made Kara's hair blow around wildley as if she were standing in a storm. Her heart was racing and beating her chest rapidly. That was no simple feat.
"If you thought that was cool, that was only a normal bolt. I have other bolts and magnificent powers but you will see all that later im sure! " Kitten exclaimed. Kara had to admit she was really impressed. She had no idea what battles she was bout to get into but she felt kinda confident now. And she loved that feeling. Kitens voice interupted her thoughts. " Hate to be rude master. " Kitten hesitated and had concern in her voice which worried Kara. "I'm sensing a malicious warrior. He is heading our way from behind."
